Not so good, though – the win came with a bit of a cost. Sky Sports reporter Gary Cotterill spotted Gyökeres on the bench with an ice pack wrapped around his leg after he was substituted in the 81st minute.
Cotterill had this to say after the game: “The Arsenal bench and Gyokeres on it getting an icepack by the medical staff straight after he came off – Just a precaution, I’m sure… Cant see what the injury is from here either.”
Of course, it’s probably just precautionary but if Gyökeres is to pick up an injury now it would be a major blow – especially with that hectic January schedule coming up and the title ambitions the Gunners have.
